Abstract
This study was undertaken to find out the modus of the origins of the arteries which supply the bileduct system based upon 205 dissections of korean fetuses, which were injected with 8% vinylite solution added 3% fast red B in acetone. The results were summerized as follows: The origins of the arteries which supply the bile duct system were the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery only in 13.7%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal and the right hepatic arteries in 29.8%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal and the supraduodenal arteries in 13.2%, f the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal and the gastroduodenal arteries in 7.9%, the posterior. superior pancreaticoduodenal and the proper hepatic arteries in 6.8% the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal and the right gastric arteries in 29.8%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal and the middle hepatic arteries in 1.5%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal and the superficial cystic arteries in 1.5%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal, the gastroduodenal and the proper hepatic arteries in 0.5%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal, the gastroduodenal and the right hepatic arteries in 7.3%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal, the right gastroepiploic and the right hepatic arteries in 1. 0%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal, the proper hepatic and the right hepatic arteries in 2.0%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal, the supraduodenal and the right hepatic arteries in 6.8%. the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal, the aberrant cystic and the right hepatic arteries in 3.9%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal, the left hepatic and the right hepatic arteries in 0. 5%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal, the gastroduodenal, the proper hepatic and the right hepatic
arteries in 0. 5%, the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal, the supraduodenal, the proper hepatic and the right hepatic arteries in 1.0%,
the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal, the supraduodenal, the aberrant cystic and the right hepatic arteries in 1.0%.
